If you have downloaded some new music to your iPhone, or you've just found your long-lost iPod with some great nostalgic tunes on, it may be the case that your iTunes or Music library on your computer is not up-to-date with all of the music on your iPhone.
Unfortunately, iTunes cannot scan your iPhone and show you the difference in music. Find out how TouchCopy can help you by providing a list of the iPhone's music which is not showing up in your iTunes / Music library.
If you have not done so already, you can download TouchCopy from here:

When you start up TouchCopy, connect your iPhone, iPod or iPad, and open the Music section, TouchCopy will display songs and playlists on your device. By this point, TouchCopy will have already scanned your iTunes library and compared it to the contents of the library on your iPhone, iPod or iPad. TouchCopy will detect all music stored in your device's library, i.e. any songs you purchased on iTunes, or tracks that were synced to your device, for example from your CD collection.
Click the "iTunes" header in TouchCopy's Music section, and the software will give you a list of the tracks on your iPhone, iPod or iPad which are not yet part of your iTunes library. When viewing this list in TouchCopy, simply click the "Copy to iTunes" button to copy the missing songs into your iTunes library!
On a Mac, iTunes has been replaced by the Music app. In TouchCopy's Music section, you can use the "Not in Music App" report to compare your device and Music app content.
Copy any music from this report from iPhone to Mac Music app using "Copy to Music".
