Upgrading Droid Transfer to Droid Transfer Version 2

How to Upgrade to Droid Transfer 2

1. Uninstall Droid Transfer 1 from your PC.
2. Download and install Droid Transfer 2.
3. Launch Droid Transfer 2 and click "Activate" at the bottom of the Welcome screen.
4. Enter your Droid Transfer 1 activation code and click "Activate".
   • You'll receive a popup advising that an upgrade is required, along with your exclusive upgrade discount code. Copy the discount code.
5. Go to our trusted third-party store on FastSpring.
6. Click "Enter Promotional Code" and Paste (or type in) your discount code. Then, click "Apply" to activate the 25% discount.
7. Complete the checkout process to purchase the license.

Licenses purchased with this offer are for the lifetime Droid Transfer 2 version with all features unlocked. You can use this license on up to 2 Windows PCs, and with any number of Android devices. While regular updates are free, we may charge for major upgrades requiring substantial development to maintain Android compatibility.

To connect your Android device with Droid Transfer 2 on your PC, first make sure you have the latest version of the free Transfer Companion app installed on your Android device.

To check for Transfer Companion updates on your Android:

1. Open the Google Play Store.
2. Tap the menu icon, and select "My apps & games".
3. Tap "Update" next to Transfer Companion.
