Rental vs Lifetime activation codes

When you purchase TouchCopy, you have two options - a Rental, or a Lifetime license.

Rental license

Your activation code will remain active for a 12 month (1 year) period.
Software can be installed and activated on a single computer.
Can be used with any iPod, iPhone or iPad. There is no limit on the number of iPods or iOS devices connecting to the software.
All software features are fully unrestricted for the 12 month period and you can download free software updates during this time.

A Rental license is not a subscription service, so it will not automatically renew after the 12 month period expires. After the license period ends, to continue using TouchCopy, a new license purchase is required.

Lifetime license

Your activation code never expires.
Software can be installed and activated on 2 computers, either 2 Windows or 2 Mac computers depending on which activation code you have purchased. You cannot use your Windows license on a Mac and vice-versa, as PC and Mac activation codes are not interchangeable.
Can be used with any iPod, iPhone or iPad. There is no limit on the number of iPods or iOS devices connecting to the software.
All software features are fully unrestricted for the lifetime of the product and we'll provide free software updates for up to 5 years after purchase. We reserve the right to charge for software upgrades if a substantial software development effort is required to ensure its continuing compatibility with the latest iOS updates. The software may also be discontinued should we be unable to continue maintaining it.
