Can I use my Windows license on a Mac and vice-versa?

Windows and Mac licenses are separate

Windows and Mac versions of our software are developed separately and are sold as different products. Because of this, Windows activation codes cannot be used to activate Mac software, and Mac activation codes cannot be used on Windows.

If you purchased a 2-computer license, it can only be used on:

• 2 Windows computers for a Windows license, or
• 2 Mac computers for a Mac license.

Licenses are valid for one user and may be activated on computers owned and used by that user. Licenses cannot be shared between multiple users.

Changing to a new computer

If you replace or upgrade your computer, you can transfer your license by deactivating the software on the old computer before activating it on the new one.

You can deactivate the software from the License / Activation Details section within the program.

TouchCopy and Droid Transfer device limits

TouchCopy licenses can be used with an unlimited number of iPhones, iPads and iPods.

Droid Transfer licenses can be used with an unlimited number of Android devices.

Purchasing both Windows and Mac licenses

If you would like to use the software on both Windows and Mac computers, or if you are switching from Windows to Mac (or vice-versa), please contact us.
